1. At sunrise
2. At sunset
3. When the sun is at its height (zawal)
4. Between dawn and sunrise, except Fajr Namaaz
5. No nafil to be performed between Asr Namaaz and sunset
6. No Namaaz to be performed between the time the imaam stands for the Friday sermon (khutba) and the two-rakaat Juma farz Namaaz.
