THE MAGNIFICENCE OF HAZRAT FATIMAH AL-ZAHARAH(RADI ALLAAHU ANHA)

Prophet Muhammad said, 'a son is a gift from Allah Ta'ala and a daughter is mercy of Allah Ta'ala'. On the Day of Judgement, everyone will be accountable for the gifts, but not for the mercy.

A daughter is a mercy for her father, but Hazrat Fatimah Al-Zaharah(Radi Allaahu Anha) is a mercy to Prophet Muhammad , who himself is a mercy (Rahmatal lil-aalameem) for the entire creation.

Prophet Muhammad said, 'Paradise lies beneath the feet of your mother'. But beneath the feet of Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) is Paradise for the 'Masters of the youth in Paradise' (Hazrat Imaam Hassan and Hazrat Imaam Hussein(Radi Allaahu Anhum).)

Hazrat Fatimah Al-Zaharah(Radi Allaahu Anha) is whose father is Syed Ul-Ambiya, whose husband is Syed Ul-Awliya, the sons, Syed Ul-Shuhadaa, and herself is

Sayedatun-Nisa.

A poet, Allama Iqbal described Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) as 'the coolness for the eyes of Prophet ﷺ. Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) resembled Prophet in all ways.

Once, the companions(Radi Allaahu Anhum) asked Prophet , 'why did you name your daughter 'Fatimah'?' Prophet replied, 'because Allah Ta'ala cut her and her progeny off from the hellfire on the Day of Judgement'. Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) was bestowed upon the title of 'Baitul'-pure and chaste, where you cut off all ties from the affairs of the world, and live for the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala.

Hazrat Asma bint Umais(Radi Allaahu Anha) narrates that at the time of the birth of Hazrat Imaam Hassan(Radi Allaahu Anhu), Prophet said of his daughter Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha), 'my daughter is pure and chaste (Taahirah), and the influencer and charisma (Mutahira)'.

Prophet Muhammad said, my daughter is a maiden of Paradise in human form, and does not receive any kind of menses'. Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) did not have to forego any of her Namaaz.

Prophet said, 'the most beloved of my family to me is Fatimah'.

Hazrat Aa'isha(Radi Allaahu Anha) narrates that Prophet was asked as who was most beloved to him, he replied, 'Fatimah', and then from men? Prophet replied, 'Fatimah's husband, Hazrat Ali(Radi Allaahu Anhu). (Mishkat).

The entire creation loves Allah Ta'ala, and Allah Ta'ala loves His beloved Prophet Muhammad , and Prophet loves Hazrat Fatimah Al-Zaharah(Radi Allaahu Anha).

Hazrat Aa'isha(Radi Allaahu Anha) narrated: 'I have not seen anyone who resembled Prophet Muhammad more than in manners, habits, character and in method of sitting and standing than Fatimah'. (Tirmidhi).

Prophet said, 'Fatimah is part of me and she is my heart and the soul which is between my two sides'.

Prophet had so much love for Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) that if he was seated and Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) would enter, he would get up and kiss her in-between the eyes and make her sit at his place. Whenever Prophet would visit Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha), she would do the same.

Whenever Prophet would leave for a journey, he would farewell Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) last, and when he returned, he would visit Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) first.

Prophet said, 'Fatimah is part of me-whoever harms her has harmed me', 'whoever loved Fatimah, would be my companion in Paradise'. (Trimidhi).

Hazrat Aa'isha(Radi Allaahu Anha) narrates that when Prophet became ill, he said to Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha), 'bring your ear closer to me', and he whispered something in her ear and she cried. Prophet again said, 'bring your ear closer to me O Fatimah', and he whispered something else in her ear and she laughed. Hazrat Aa'isha(Radi Allaahu Anha) narrates that after some time she asked Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha), 'what Prophet whispered to you?' Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) replied, 'first he said, 'O Fatimah! I am going to die tonight', so I cried. When he saw me crying, he said, 'will you not be satisfied that you will be the first amongst my family to follow me and you will be the leader of the women of Paradise', and so I laughed.

Hazrat Fatimah(Radi Allaahu Anha) passed away on the 3rd of Ramadhan.

Hazrat Ali(Radi Allaahu Anhu) narrates, 'I heard Prophet say, 'on the Day of Judgement an announcer will announce from behind a veil, 'O people of the Day of Resurrection! Lower your gazes until Fatimah the daughter of Muhammad passes'.'
